Byron Donaldson
Biomechanist | Exploring | Cincinnati, OH
Hola! I’m Byron, I work as a biomechanics analyst for the Cincinnati Reds - although you probably won’t find much baseball or biomechanics on these pages (yet!). I’m getting there, but staying on brand is boring. Before joining the Reds I worked with Helen Bayne and Neil Bezodis on sprint coordination, by way of UCAM CIARD and UCT ESSM.
I mostly built this site as an experiment to learn how to do that sort of thing, and now it exists to claim some small internet corner for myself. Besides, I refuse to get LinkedIn and my Twitter presence is dwindling, so I must stake my claim somewhere.
I’m originally from Cape Town, but in former lives I have also lived in Spain, Vietnam and Chile. Great places all.
Besides all that, you can probably find me being tall, running (slowly), or in a second-hand book store.
Contact: I haven’t retired to a ranch in Patagonia just yet - you can get in touch via email or Twitter, I also respond well to carrier pigeon.
